Ever HAd?

Being in the Medical Science Industry and all that…. you sorta bear the responsibility to ensure the quality of the patient’s results… I mean.. imagine telling someone he/she’s got HIV and finding out later that the lab made a mistake.. that would seriously put someone’s life in a tailspin.. and a mountain of legal troubles for the lab and the company. So.. in an ideal world.. you’d hope that ’smart’ people run the lab… efficiently.. with responsibility.. and all that stuff..

Unfortunately.. this isn’t usually the case as I found out…

Me and a workmate was chatting to this scientist who was telling us about him proposing to his wife while they were still dating a few years ago.. The whole package was there.. candlelight, dinner, romantic atmosphere… the works..

Scientist: .. so yeah.. when i figured the moment was right… I got down on bended knee and proposed to her..

Me: Oh wow.. good one…

Workmate (Blonde by the way): Oh My God!! That’s sooo romantic.. did she say yes?

-_- … This is why I’m scared of the people I’m working with sometimes..
